Designed for users requiring increased skin protection and improved seating stability, the cushion features a mildly contoured, high-density moulded foam base that promotes pelvic stability while increasing the overall contact area between the user and the seating surface. This design helps improve comfort while reducing localised pressure over vulnerable areas.
A defining feature of the Glacial SP is its integrated silicone gel overlay, which works together with the contoured foam base to provide additional skin protection and minimise shearing forces. The cushion incorporates a pelvic well with a pre-ischial shelf that assists in preventing posterior pelvic tilt, helping users maintain a more upright and functional sitting posture. The posterior cut-out provides coccyx and sacral relief, while sub-trochanter support encourages greater lateral stability and assists with maintaining proper femoral alignment.
